no traffic on v4.400

if you are considering purchasing tomtom v4.400..which is used in the hp bundle,tomtom go and smartphone etc..please note that version does not support tomton traffic..well the hp bundle i know does not support traffic as i purchased a hp tomtom bundle.inside box was a promotional offer of tomtom traffic free for a month..great i thought..upon trying to load tomtom traffic i was encountering some probs..i then surf off to tomtoms site to discover that traffic does not work on this version??? what a load of pants..so i have a gps system that is very happy to let me drive straight into a pile of traffic..mmmmmm..also why offer a free month trial on a version that does not support traffic??? come on tomtom wake up the whole idea of sat nav system is to get to your destination as swiftly as possible..not as long as possible.it does not even have shortest or quickest route option...as i said before PANTS beware and good luck driving into traffic if u already have this version....

For Traffic updates you need some kind of connectivity. Neither the GO nor the HP iPAQ are equipped with communication devices (yet). Therefore traffic doesn't (yet) make sense on thes configurations.
