Trying to decide now which GPS i should opt for (ive read both reviews on this site already).

Anyone care to suggest which would be best suited to prodominant usage 'incar' but also with some 'walking' usage aswell.

On & how well will each perform @ around 40,000ft?

I dont know what chipset the Emtac is but the SysOnCHip is an XTRAC?
(sorry, i forget whitout going back to look @ the reviews again, Laughing Out Loud)

I did try to buy the Emtac today, but was unsucessful, so am pondering the choices between these two devices.

I will be hoping to arrive @ www.globalpositiongsystems.co.uk depot & purchase one Monday morning (before i prepare to leave for ASIA).

Will both of thse units function correctly even when Thailand? (I'm not talking about charging methods here).

I know GPS stanbds for Global Positioning System, but just curious as im new to GPS & have limited knowledge.

Many thanx, hope for some good replies soon so i can take them on baord to help me decide.

Oh & finally, Laughing Out Loud..... i see that the SysOnChip does'nt come with a charger, so would my O2 XDA II charger work with this if i remove the connector from the end to allow it to mate with the PDA?
