Hi,

After only having had tomtom installed for a couple of hours I have two questions that I hope someone can answer. Firstly, on the navigator view the manual says that the name at the very bottom of the screen is the 'current location indicator'. Can't find a setting for this but mine seems to only display the next road and not the current one. I probably will prefer to have the next one displayed so I can look out for it but would like to know if there is an appropriate setting.

Second question. Now I'm sure I've seen this here on the forum weeks ago but have been looking for hours tonight. Is it advisable to remove the tomtom gps program? I'm sure I read somewhere that it takes over. If I do remove it, do I need to replace it with something else?

Thanks for any advice Wink

1) That statement was made for the safety screen, not for the navigator view

2) yes, it's advisable to replace the GPS driver with version 2.07 if you plan to use other GPS applications besides TomTom.

Thanks,
I have the manual on screen now and it definately says 'The navigater view', item 7=current location indicator. As for the GPS, I'll probably just be sticking with tomtom for the time being so hopefully not an issue

cheers Smile
