|

Hi All...
Im a newbie to the GPS world.... I have just recently bought a Copilot 5 Live and Bluetooth GPS for my IPAQ 3970... I have installed the updated camera database as per the instructions
Everything works great, except for i do not get ANY speed camera or POI warnings (neither audio or visual)..
When i have planned a route, i am navigated to my destination and when i pass a Gasto etc, i do not get any warnings even though the POI's are enabled etc.
In fact, wheni am sitting stationary in my car, ALL the POI's are displayed on the map, but when i start to move they ALL disappear....
Can anyone help... PLEASE... this is driving me mad..!!
Thanks in advance for ANY help you can give...

Hi Simon,
I'm sorry but I can't help you on the speed camera warnings as I am not a user of Co Pilot. I can, however, tell you that the disappearing POI's are nothing to worry about - they are in fact a feature of Co Pilot.
When you are stationary, all the POI's will be displayed on the map, but will disappear as soon as you start moving.

Thanks for your help Bo-peep.
For anyone else that is having this problem... I have found out that if i import the new database into the Saftey Camera POI (overwritting existing POI's) instead of Custom POI it works fine
Thanks again,

I use a mia 168 with copilot version 5 and have the exact same problem. It is a real pain!
Does anybody else suffer from this and can rectify this problem?
