I have an IPAQ 4150 with TomTom3 running, i constantly kepp getting the message when using TomTom3 unreliable GPS signal. I now this is a signal issue as the Wired arial is in an OK position as one minute it works the next it does not. Any one else have this problem. as at present my TomTom3 is next to useless.

What happens when you hold the receiver out of the window (or put it temporarily on the roof if it has a magnetic base) ?

it might be the baud rate and com port set up have you checked them do you have a plug in keyboard installed this could the problem of the receiver could be stuffed if try a reinstall of the navigator program and see if its any better first

Can you try a different software (like Winfast navigator) to see if it also experiences the dropouts?
