Contrary to reports on various web sites, are you guys aware that the SPV C500 does support connection to 2 bluetooth devices simultaneously?

I tested this using the Jabra BT200 headset whilst being navigated for half an hour by TomTom MOBILE using its proprietory bluetooth antenna. Both worked absolutely flawlessly at the same time. Came as a shock to me! Hope it's a nice surprise to you. :o [/u]

Support for several simultaneous Bluetooth connections is a feature of the Bluetooth stack used. Most if not all Bluetooth Pocket PCs support this, so there has to be suitable hardware and software for Windows CE; it just needed someone to feel it worthwhile to make such features available on Smartphone.

Do you happen to know what Bluetooth stack is used, the version of the stack (so that we can compare to what's on the Pocket PCs), as well as the ROM version of your phone - just in case people's experiences differ.

It's encouraging to read of a phone that does support multiple Bluetooth connections.

Hey,

I've just found out today how to make the Nokia 6630/6600 support two bluetooth connections also.

Using a small. SIS file to allow two connections. I do not have a link or any real information on the application as yet, I've just tried it thats all.

Managed to use my TomTom GPS unit to speak with BlueSky GPS satellite tracking app and use my BT headset.

The C500 will support Bluetooth to a BTGPS and to a BT Headset, this is due to the different BT stack that's being used.
