Just got a Bluetooth 6030 to go with my iPAQ rx3715 & I have TomTom 3.
I have managed to make a connection to my PDA & in the Bluetooth manager connections I see I have an outgoing connection but no incoming?
I've looked at the comport settings (that can't be changed) & my inbound is 8 & outbound is 6.
I've been thro this forum & used all different settings on the TomTom GPS settings & still no joy.
I have also been in touch with HP, Rikaline & TomTom & they basically all say the same thing that it should work & best settings to use are comport 8 & TomTom wireless.
The only thing I can think of is that the receiver is faulty (tho it's flashing all the right LEDs so that looks ok) or I need to do something with my iPAQ Bluetooth connection.......... other than update the ROM as that gave me loads of problems last time!

Has anyone got any ideas before I send the 6030 back or stamp on my iPAQ please!!!!
Laughing Out Loud
Confused
Thanks

I suggest you upgrade to TomTom Navigator 3.07, which includes the GPS 3.07 upgrade. If you didn't get an 'update CD' with your copy of TomTom Navigator, the 3.07 software can be downloaded from support.tomtom.com in the downloads section.

3.07 is the only version designed for use on Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition machines such as your rx3715 and my iPAQ hx4700.

The right setting is your outgoing Bluetooth serial port - as the connection is made from your iPAQ to your GPS. If your iPAQ is saying COM6:, you should be using COM6: in TomTom GPS. Nearly every iPAQ model has different Bluetooth COM port numbering.
