Questions about iCN-510.

I recently purchased an iCN-510 and there are a couple things about it that bother me, especially when compared to my Garmin Quest.

First, the "map software"....kinda bites. With the Garmin you get MapSource, which is just fantastic, but MapST doesnt seem to be anything more than a map transfer tool. Not very good.

Am I missing something here? If not, what other decent mapping applications (i.e. MS Streets and Trips or the like).

Second, searching for POI's is kinda cruddy. I am going to NYC here shortly and was looking for the Empire State Building. I couldnt find it no matter what I tried, I wanted to just be able to search all categories of POI's but you cannot do that.

Is this pretty much just how it is?

And lastly, the font....I am not blind, I don't need THAT large a font. And it prevents ALOT of usefull data from being displayed, is there a way, up to and including some sort of hack (since this is just a WinCE device after all) to modify the font size up and down?

Its funny, the Garmin Quest has a much smaller screen but its fonts are still way smaller than the Navman with a much larger screen. Heh.
