TT-Go maps on TT2

From what I understand the TT-Go maps are far more up to date than the current TT3 GB versions.

Combine with the TT3 issues I am reading about and the decrease functionality from TT2 it is really turning me off the idea of upgrading.

We are just about to buy TT-Go for my Parents inlaw, so can I use the maps in TT-Go on my TT2 system?

(and there is no feature reduction between TTN2 and TTN3. What you mean is TTN2004)

As Lutz says, TomTom Navigator 2 uses an older map format that's different to that used in Navigator 3 and later products.
