The best setting is NMEA at 38400
NMEA is text encoded (you can read the stream), SiRF is binary.
SBAS is satellite based augmentation system - geostationary satellites that improve the accuracy of the GPS signal. In Europe it's called EGNOS, and it's still not live 8O _________________ Lutz

Thanks for that....
One more question though is there anyway of TomTom anouncing the speed limits for the road you are traveling or Overspead? I have CeckPoint which someone told me would do it but i can't get it to work. Do you know of any software? |

None of the programs can do that. Some can give you a generic warning over a preset speed, others can show the speed range of a street segment but cannot warn about it.
What you are looking for is something different - the anouncement of speed camera locations. For that to work you need to load the appropriate POIs to your Pocket PC. _________________ Lutz
