GR 231 cannot be used with a wired connection!

Some owners of a GR-231 tried to connect it with their laptop throug USB but the 231 shuts itself off every 5-8 minutes because the power-saving mode is looking for a BT-signal that's not there obviously.

I believe this is a generic application that doesn´t fit 100% to this GPS. They told me that the Power Save feature cannot be change for the user and is setted up from the manufacturer. This means that, everybody that wants to use this GPS like me, (GPS connected to my iPAQ with wires instead of bluetooth), the GPS will switch off automatically every 5-8 minutes which sorry, IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!"

Comment: in my opinion a very serious and stupid design error!
