P.C. not recognising tom tom disc

I bought Tom Tom Navigator to load onto my Medion 9500. When I insert thesoftware disc into my CD or DVD drive on my P.C. it is not showing up. I go into "my computer" but the 2 drives are not showing any recognition of a disc being in there. I returned the disc, the person I bought it from tried it in their P.C. and it worked fine. Any suggestions or explanations? Please???

If it worked OK in another PC then maybe it is a problem with your CD drive on your PC?

I had this problem a while ago (not with a TomTom CD) but my CD drive would recognise some software CD's and not others. Eventually it was diagnosed as a faulty CD drive and was replaced by the repair man.

Try other CD's in the drive and see if/how they work.

where did you get the disc from If was was a copy of a tt disc the you will have other problems ie activation
then id go to a recognized reseller and get an official copy tt3 software is cheap enough if you look round
