First time here- you have a very informative site - been using GPS in the field for 3 years, we use a mobile GIS program for mapping in vineyards and for creating harvest and pruning layers. We have sold over 15 units in the last 20 months - these include GPS, Pocket PC, GIS software, CF or SD cards and Powered PDA mounts.

Until the phase out of the 3XXX & 5XXX Ipaq we have been using the Co-pilot Jacket - a great all in one robust field unit. Now with the new cases HP have offered us (isn't it great how just when something is almost standard they change it) we have gone for the CF Card type GPS.

The problem with the LP GPS is the GPS keeps resetting - we are running a GIS program called "DLOG". It also resets when only running its SERVER software.

We have downloaded the latest drivers in addition the local distributor "VERBATIM" installed 2 new drivers.

1/ Any suggestions to stop this constant resetting?
2/ Why the annoying message "CF GPS card may not be connected properly, remove and reinstall" or something like this. When the card hasn’t even moved.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
