Checking maps online

I'm seriously considering buying a TTG. Whilst I work on obtaining permission from my Financial Controller (aka wife) I'm doing some research online.

One thing that is of possible concern is the quality of the maps. Is it possible to "audition" them before use? I've got a Garmin eMap and on Garmin's website you can/could look at the full map detail for a specific area to check if the right roads were shown.

Is there an equivalent for the TTG or another product that uses the TeleAtlas maps?

www.viamichelin.co.uk use Tele Atlas maps, but that's not to say they're the same date as TTG
