Detour & Avoid Working?

I've had a couple of attempts at using Detour and Avoid Road but it doesn't seem to do anything at all. I admit it's only been limited testing but there are a couple of routes from my home to work but I can't force CoPilot to choose anything other than the 'default' route. Anyone had any success?

Detour works for me althogh not as advertised. Avoid doesn't seem to do anything and even if it did it seems like it's on a per trip basis.

Is anyone from ALK taking any interest in what's going on in here?
