I have just bought a 256MB SD card to replace my existing 128MB one. Can I copy all the files on the 128MB card to my PC, insert the new 256MB card and then copy them back.

Is this the easiest way or do I have to reinstall the TomTom maps? I also want to add the major European roads so I'm hoping I can just install these after I have copied everything back to tne new card.

You can copy the files/folders on the 128MB card to my PC, insert the new 256MB card and then copy them back.
I just did the same with my new replacement 1GB SD card.
These cards just keep on getting bigger and cheaper, where will it end?
1GB SD card = £68.91 inc vat

Your way will work fine albeit slowly. If you have a card reader then that would be a great deal faster.
