Hi all,
Finally figured out how to add custom POI's using POI edit. I downlaoded the update things that you do when you run POI edit, and now I have new POI's called "poket_gps_ik_gatso", Im very pleased with these as they have more cameras on than the standard database with checkpoint. I managed to change the icon of one of them by going into it manually, however the large white "label" that pops on when 10,20,30 etc seconds from it say "poket_gps_ik_gatso" I'd like to change this to "CAMERA" or somwthing, can I do this? if so, how!!
Also, the new group I created with poiedit is now listed under checkpoint in the section called "not synchronised", now the "synchronization settings" option is greyed out, what I'm concerned about now is when I synchronise, will it upload my new category onto the internet?! This category is for places/people I commonly visit, since tomtom wont navigate correctly from my outlook contacts, this seems to be the only way I can do this.

You can do this by renaming the "pocketgps_uk_gatso.ov2" file to "camera.ov2". Make sure you do the same for the .bmp file, otherwise the camera icon won't show.
You will find the files stored in the map folder on your storage card.
