Hi guys,

Am still juggling all the options for my first GPS buy, and have a question or two - hope you don't mind!

Anyway, I've pretty much decided on TT3, most likely with their bluetooth GPS, and was wondering whether you can have Media Player on the PDA (it's an iPaq 4150) playing in the background whilst TT3 guides you? At the moment I have a line running from the headphone output on the 4150 to the car stereo, so that I can play mp3s from it; I'd want TT3 to 'borrow' that whenever it felt the need to tell me where to go. Is this going to work?

I was also hoping that someone could tell me whether the TT car kit can recharge the bluetooth GPS (I'm guessing through the serial interface on the cradle)?

Thanks!

Chris

I tried this once - yes it does work, but when I tried it with bluetooth, it was too much for my 2210 and it kept dropping the bluetooth connections (literally every 30 seconds or so)... it might fare better with a wired GPS perhaps.

Ah, that's not good news. The 4150 and the 2210 have the same speed processor, 400Mhz, I think, so if the 2210 couldn't handle it then I doubt the 4150 would do any better.

Thanks for your reply, nej. Does anyone else have any experience with this issue?

Chris
