|
|
I have recently changed my hardwired ADSL modem for a wireless ADSL router.
While i can sync my IPAQ with no problems and i can also acess the internet and connect email with it also.
However i can no longer access the POI system to update my POI's
The error that i get is:
Cannot retrieve proxy settings Probably these are set to auto detect or Auto configuration.
You can set proxy settings manually from the online proxy settings menu
I am stumped i cannot even find the online proxy settings menu!
Any help much appreciated |

If you are using poiEdit you have go to Internet Options (Tools->Internet Options...)
Then the "Connections" and "LAN Settings" then uncheck the "Automatically detect settings"
That should do it.
