Touble installing additional maps

I have TT3 with Emtac Crux BT receiver, Ipaq 1940 + 512k SD card. I have installed TT3 with Major Roads of Europe map. This works fine (although I had to upgrade to 3.03 to get it working).

Now having tried to install the UK map using the install program, it copies the map onto the SD card, but whenever I select select other map in TT3, I get a message saying "no other maps installed".

I notice, browsing through the files on ipaq that there is no Great Britian.cfg file, whereas there is a Major Roads of Europe.cfg

It takes 1/2 an hour or so to load this though active sync, is there a way I can install using an SD reader? and might this solve the problem of not being able to see the new map.

yes, you can install it through the card reader. As for the .cfg file - that should be generated automatically. The map directory name must end with "Navigator Map"
