Howdie Folks,
I currently only use the GB mapping on my TT3, can anyone tell me which addon mapping package would have the data for the channel islands (jersey/guernsey) please?
I would unconceviable to travel there on my holiday and not be told where to go by my trusted TT3!!
Many Thanks

Hi Aidi,
I’ve been asking TomTom and Tele Atlas for map data for the Channel Islands for the last year. Unfortunately neither seems interested in our requirements. Have a look at this thread.
Your best bet is to try some software that uses Navteq data, i.e. Mapopolis or the new CoPilot 5. Please let us know how you get on as Bo Peep and I are hoping to visit Jersey later on this year.

Hi Robert,
Well i have tried a few alternatives for getting mapping for the channel islands, but have pretty much drawn a blank. Not a big issue really, cant go more than a few miles before getting your feet wet!! I am sure my "internal" navigation will get me from A to B!!
I did read the thread you pointed out, so all is not lost for the future. I was amused to see the Isles of Scilly listed there! That is where I actually live, and its so small that you can see where your going!! If you can get lost on Scilly, then your in severe difficulties!!!
Best Rgds

CoPilot 5 has the maps for the Channal Islands and can be viewed in full detail on the desktop of CP5 using the UK version but I think you would need to have the European maps installed as well in order to navigate. _________________ Graham.
