Try changing the setting in the GPS Status - GPS tab. There is a picture of a PDA with ZZZ on, move the slider across to the right.

HTH,

Steve.

thanks for the reply, but I didn`t explain the problem very well,
what is happening is as I start tt3 program, the 2210 is turning off before tt3 has completed the startup.
and when I turn the 2210 back on, tt3 continues with the start up.
thanks again for trying to help

Try going to the power settings on the ipaq and untick the box next to the "Turn off device if not used for" option.

Also, is the iPAQ definitely switching off or is it just the backlight switching off? If it is just the backlight, then just tap the screen to turn the light back on and increase the time next to the "Turn off backlight if device is not used for" option or disable this option.

not a power issue, on battery set to 3mins, on external power set to 10mins,
it is not just the backlight going out, the whole unit is turning off.
and by the way, this has only happened since installing tt3, when I used tt2 thee problem never occured.
thanks again for trying to help.

I can live with it, but it is annoying.
Sad

I think I would complete a hard reset and re-load the software.
