I wonder if anybody here could help.

I bought a Ipaq Naviagtion System 2 gps package from HP. The intention was to make use of my 3360 which has been lying around for 2 years, try satnav out and then give it to my son and I would then buy myself something better Laughing . So far so bad.......

The first problem I noticed was the the 3360 would not always see the cf card (it recognises and initialises the sleeve every time) and sometimes it offered to reformat the card. Looking at system memory I can see that the 3630 identified the card but shows it with zero space and zero data. Soft resetting seemed to help for a while.

Eventually it would not see the card at all so, I copied the files from the cf to my pc and re formatted it on my PC and then copied the files on the cd back to the cf (because I think that not all the original cf files were copied to the pc). I think that there were some subtle differences between the files that were on the cf and the cd. Anyhow, I did get it working for a while and then the problems started again - sometimes the program would load and when I tried to use it I would get the message "big problem 2" ....Now all the system wants to do is format the cf (I have tried this and get error 31 (if I recall correctly) and that basically corrupts the card which then needs to be formatted on the pc. SO right now all that works is the sleeve (ie the 3360 initialises it ) but no SATnav. Any solutions please !!!

Can you try this with another CF card?

No - I don't have one handy - a friend has exactly the same set up and he is also getting an intermittent problem with the 3630 seeing the cf ! I had hoped that it was just a case of downloading an updated driver - but I have rom 2.20 loaded !!

I am running ROM 2.14 and the CoPilot jacket (which should be the same hardware, at least from the CF point of view), and never had issues with the CF slot... Sorry, no idea what it could be.
