Just in the market for a ipaq based navigation, probally the Navigon Navigator4 with the TMC option, however can any offer any major advantages in going for the Bluetooth option when the GPS reciever still needs to be connected via cables providing the power and the TMC radio signals.

Am I missing something that the Bluetooth option provides other than a clutter free wireless solution Idea

The GPS receiver doesn't need to be permanently connected to power. And the TMC antenna doesn't need to be connected anywhere - it just dangles around

I appreciate the freedom option, but I will always be panicing that the GPS reciever will run out of power mid journey, so will probally have it connected to a power source.

As for the TMC antenna, Navigon have advised me to purchase a "Y" lead adapter to connect the TMC to the car antenna, this is to overcome some issues that they have come across with TMC in the UK.

I suppose the main advantage will be that the GPS/TMC reciever will not be tied to one particular make of Pocket PC, where as the cabled option will require a new cable for a different PC.

Cheers
