Hi
I am buying a new Nissan van and will be working predominantly in the north London area which I do not know too well, visiting up to 10 or so different addresses daily.
The Nissan comes with an optional sat nav system but I am having trouble finding out about its capabilities. All I know is that it costs £750.
I know so little about the subject that I am not sure what I should be looking for in a dashboard mounted system, all I really know is that I definitely need a postcode search facility.
So, first of all, is anyone familiar with the Nissan system and secondly can anyone give me any advice as to what features I should be looking for (that possibly are not available with the Nissan system), etc etc. Aslso, anyones experiences of using a sat nav system like this would be very welcome.
Sorry this is a bit vague.
Regards

for £500 you can get a very good pda/gps combo which can do much more than the nissan version. and you will be able to update the software really easily and do your own modifications to it. such as adding speed camera locations etc.
or theres tom tom go which costs £450 and can be taken out of your vvehicle and used in another. |

Not for long though - only until the locusts swept through.
