I am currently in the process of resetting my BT-308 to regain NMEA, not sure this is worth it but......... anyway, the battery has run down to the point were all the LED's have turned off. How much longer do I need to leave it?
Thanks.

Does the external receiver supplied run with SiRF?????????

Been off now for 48 hours, started the bluetooth connection, started GPS Info, Com port 8, baud rate 38400, start GPS, cold start = $PSRF...OK, then nothing.................................... Crying or Very sad
Scan Com port would appear to nothing also, when this is clicked nothing at all happens?

Hi,

Can't guarantee it will work but I had the same situtation. At the end everything worked. If I recollect well the last thing I did was switching from sirt to nmea in TomTom. Kill TomTom and start GPSinfo. It found it immediately.

I seem to remember that there was an issue with some BT-308 units that when switching back from Sirf, you need to select NMEA 01832v2 38400 rather than 4800 otherwise it wouldn't play. Try that.

You could also try Winfast Navigator and do a factory reset within that. Would still recommend you select 38400 first after the reset though.
