|

Hi,
I'm looking for some support please.
For the last couple of months the volume of voice alerts played Via CarPlay from iPhone has been very very low indeed. Even with relative volume set to maximum and the iPhone volume also set to max its impossible to hear alerts.
Music being played from Spotify and Apple Music DOES reduce for the alerts, as its always done, but you then have to quickly turn up your media volume to hear whats being announced, before being blasted by media again after the alert.
I have tried all settings in the App and have reverted back to how I've always had my settings but still the volume is really low, almost as if "relative volume" isn't working anymore.
Audio route is set to "music" and "fade" but it doesn't matter what routing I set, the result is the same.
Thanks for reading. |

Could be a car setting
When I have my alerts in multimedia mode they are quite quiet but when in phone mode ( pseudo phone call) it's louder _________________ Satnav:

I vote also for car issues. What is your car? I have had many BMW's and with older ones, you need to increase (car's) volume during the alert, so it' not affect radio volume. In newer ones there is different sound settings, so it's easier.
(Wifey's Skoda works "like old BMW". It has Apple Car Play, but the alert volume can be set up during the alert.) |
