Janusz Gerszberg (JGUI) as you may remember Janusz as, has emailed us some in-car mount photos. Janusz says.... I took the original Nokia's phone holder ($11), un-mount and use only a few parts without the phone socket, then screw it up in the air-vent in the front of car's dashboard. I took the original Compaq Compact Flash jacket ($34), un-mounted this, and added a screw in the center of back side of the mount, connected the above two parts together by rotating the screw.
A few months later I bought Dual CF Jacket from PI-TECH ($89) (the best buy of the year for me!), because I wanted to use a GPS card together with memory card where I saved 256MB of street maps and satellite photos. This works fine together, my new software EXTREME GPS works fine with this combination, reads maps very quickly, but I wondered how to use it in the car again, and with price of mind: the dual CF jacket slips in inside the original jacket with ease
So, for $45 I have useful car's holder, I think I have a much more convenient setup and looks much better than others (it's smaller too!).
