 Since the conception of Pocket GPS and PocketGPSWorld.com we have always tried to create a complete comparison of all products in their various arenas, to allow you to look at the technical specifications and see which product is the best for you, and to back this with full-on reviews. We have accomplished this many times over, and our comparison charts are the most comprehensive in the GPS sector, but the main problem we have experienced is keeping a product matrix like this up to date manually is a real hassle. So after many months of discussions and the hard work put into the coding of the database from Lutz, we have now launched the PocketGPSWorld.com Comparison Database.
The objective of this is to replace all of our existing comparison charges, no matter what product it is, it will eventually appear in the Comparison Database. You will be able to compare products side by side checking detailed specifications within seconds.
Over the next few months we will be releasing Comparison Databases for all sections of GPS, be it any type of hardware or any type of software. As soon as new comparison databases are available, we will announce these on the news page. Where possible, please use these over any other comparisons we have on the site. Over the next few months we will fade out any of our older comparison pages in favour of the new databases.
