TomTom Takes Up the Fight And Countersues Microsoft

pocketgpsworld.comFollowing the Microsoft law suit, TomTom have taken up the challenge and files a countersuit.

TomTom are accusing Microsoft of infringement of a number of its patents covering navigation.

TomTom holds a number of Patents. Some formed through a process of internal development and others acquired through buy-outs and direct purchase of the rights.

It is now widely expected that the final outcome will be an agreement by both parties allowing each to use the other's patents rather than a full blown and doubtless expensive court battle.

Doesn,t Microsoft have enough of a monopoly? What more do they want? This is a case of a Megalopolis wanting to own the world.
