Article by: Darren Griffin Date: 26 Sep 2011
Sygic have added full support for Android tablets running OS 3.x with their latest 11.2 update of Sygic GPS for Android.
Other highlights of the update include Google Local Search, Dynamic Lane Guidance, POI import, and Text To Speech. Sygic have also added new packages that cover Egypt, Gulf Countries, Iran , Israel, Poland, Southeast Asia and Venezuela.
Popular Android tablets including Asus Transformer, Motorola Xoom and Samsung Galaxy can now take advantage of Sygic GPS and a new feature that we haven't seen on any bother platform is a visual countdown to a speed zone change with distance, a welcome safety feature.
Sygic GPS navigation is available via the Android Market, for more information visit Sygic's web site at www.sygic.com/en/android.

Just tried 11.2 on My Acer Iconia A500 and seems to run quite well on the 10.1" screen, although havent done a road test was quite impressed with picking up 4 satelites within seconds within the house and not near the window, all this after trying Navigon for 2hours in window and not picking up one sat, first impressions very good and far superior to Android Navigon but would like to compare to Copilot 9.
