Orange France and Telmap launch free navigation app

Yesterday Telmap announced the launch of a free GPS application branded as Orange Maps V2. Orange Maps V2 uses server based Navteq mapping of 26 European countries. The application is optimised for both pedestrian and in-car operation, with spoken direction instructions.
To augment the application there are nearly 120,000 business listings, a fine dining guide, and the locations of the French Velib bike hire stations in Paris.
