O2 Joins with Telmap to Bring Navigation App to Customers

O2 have announced an agreement with Telmap that will see its personal navigation and mapping service embedded on the majority of O2 GPS-enabled handsets.

Telmap�s Navigator offering includes in-car 3D maps with text-to-speech technology, traffic alerts with alternative route options and turn by turn directions while walking.

O2 customers will have the chance to try the service for 14 days before they decide to buy.

Due to appear on the market this autumn, subscription packages will start at �3.50 per month.
