NDrive announce launch of Android compatability
Article by: Darren Griffin Date: 22 Dec 2009
NDrive have announced the release of their navigation application on the Android platform. This completes the line-up with products also available for Windows Mobile, Symbian and iPhone. Available in the Android Market, NDrive is an on-board navigation solution with maps installed to the handset. This means you are not reliant on a network connection for navigation and you will not incur additional costs for using a data service.
NDrive for Android supports all the major features as seen on its other smartphone product including a simple and intuitive user interface, itineraries, important 3D buildings and landmarks, QWERTY keyboard and portrait/landscape support.
Ndrive is compatible with Android 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0 and maps are available for the Americas, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East and Asia and the South Pacific.
Guide prices are Western Europe €70.00 and Great Britain and Ireland €45.00
