New cameras are coming to the A38 in Cornwall.

The average speed cameras will initially monitor 30mph roadwork traffic, but will remain in place for a further six months to trial the normal 50mph speed limit.

The devices are set to cover two stretches at Glynn Valley.

A spokesman for Highways England, said: "We're working with the Devon and Cornwall Safety Camera Partnership to determine the most suitable locations for the speed cameras, and we are aiming to install these by the end of March."

He added: "In the meantime, speed limits are being enforced on a mobile basis through the roadworks, and signage is in place to advise drivers."
