Networks In Motion have announced it is expanding Gokivo support for BlackBerry to international markets with support for the UK, Western Europe and Canada.
Networks In Motion claim that this is another milepost in the transformation of turn-by-turn navigation to mobile devices and away from PND standalone products.
Owners of the BlackBerry Bold, and BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphones, can now download Gokivo directly to their handsets from BlackBerry App World.
Doug Antone, CEO of Networks In Motion said "As mobile devices proliferate and grow more powerful, the handset is becoming the platform that will drive almost all the future growth in turn-by-turn navigation and we're going to be leading that transition and increasing the smartphone footprint for Gokivo".

NIM's PR has just told me "To answer your question, we do plan to expand to other BlackBerry devices in the coming months, so stay tuned."
They're not able to offer more detail at this point
