CamerAlert Database - Reaches new heights of accuracy
Article by: Darren Griffin Date: 3 Mar 2011
We like to think that our speed camera database is the most comprehensive available. To that end we go to extreme lengths to capture the locations of every fixed camera in the land.
We recently received a tip off that there was a fixed camera near Windsor that we didn't have and so off we trotted to capture the location.
This camera was difficult to get to, there was a toll to pay but once we had found it, verification was a ball, we went round three times just to be sure. It has now been allocated ID GATSO: 91167
For those unfamiliar with the area, it's here.

I tried to get that camera but I couldn't find enough red bricks to finish my car, don't you just hate it when that happens!

But it seems that the Stig is taking one of those cars on a test drive. (look around a bit in Street view)

The speed limit there would appear ambitious - if they change it to a more realistic 10mph will you be introducing a new category of Gatso to the database?
iOS rokcs (but my typing - well....)
