|
|
Hi All
I got an email message from Gramin the other day saying that version 3.20 was available so I upgraded my garmin i3.
Since then when using the device I get alerts at every junction of the m25 or m3 and I keep getting multiple alerts for every point of interest.
The alerts I get look like the speed camera alerts but, as I say, I get alerts about ordinary junctions, MacDonald's etc etc. I get the red banner at the top of the screen with Alert: m25 followed by the junction number in banner.
I have searched the forum but I can't see anyone else having this problem.
Can I delete the POI folder on my flash card and reload all the POIs? Can I roll black to the previous firmware version, If so how do I do it and where do I get it from. I see lots of people saying 2.7 is better?
I think i would like to try and fix the problem rather than roll back to a previous version but I am not sure if I delete the POI folder on the flash card that it wont cause more problems than solves..
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Have you updated POILOader recently?
A new version of POILoader caused all POIs to trigger alerts. If so, go back to an older verison of POILoader. |

Are you sure you have the latest poiloader 2.3.2
Changes made from version 2.3.1 to 2.3.2:
Fixed an issue where reading .gpx files with phone numbers could cause POI Loader to crash.
Fixed an issue where alerts were being created for all POIs. Fixed an issue where certain .bmp files could cause POI Loader to crash.
Fixed an issue where a .jpg file embedded in a .mp3 file's ID3 tag would not display on the unit.
i'm not having any problems on myI3 |
