Mapsonic, Tungsten T1 & Voice

Hi,

I use Mapsonic 1.3.2 with a Tungsten T1. Everything is fine until I use the voice: It starts telling me which direction to take but after a few command it crashs the TT and I need to reset it. It never guide more than 5 mins without crashing

I thought first to an incompatibility with some resident apps, but a hard reset of the TT with only Mapsonic in memory did not improve the situation Same problem

Of course I have enough free ram on the TT to run the app (9.4 Mo). I tried some old version of Mapsonic (1.1 and 1.2) and still get exactly the same.

Anybody experienced this also ? Any solution ?

i tried running mapsonic on the missus t1 but couldnt get any maps to load. my map size was 2meg and i had 5.9meg free on the pda. it kept saying not enough memory.

i have a t2 and it works fine on there. have you contacted mapsonic

Yes I have contacted Viamichelin and I am still expecting an answer...

For the memory, I confirm that below 8 or 8.5 Mb available you'll get an out of memory error.
