|

Been using the Pixel 3XL with CamerAlert and my phone has upgraded to Android 10.
The app still works, but have noticed the following two things
No menu button at bottom of screen to access settings, you now have to click on the camera icon in top right hand corner
App now reports it is not registered, so have had to reregister to get the updates
Other than that the app still works, running in the background overlaying Android Auto and Google Maps. |

If 10 is on the horizon then my Samsung Galaxy S10 must be in line _________________ DashCam:

App doesn't work on Galaxy S10+ running Android 10.
Crashes before it even starts.
Tried clearing data and re-installing but no luck.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, it really is time this app had a major update.
Maybe this problem will make that happen although based on my last correspondence on this forum based on this topic I certainly won't be holding my breath for it.
Time I guess to find a replacement app, anyone any suggestions? |

Try SpeedTrap Alert. It plays nicely with the PGPSW database and has a few rather nice features. No auto update, but that's about all that's missing.
Web stuff on speedtrap-alert.com |

It certainly doesn't work on my Galaxy S10+ at the moment but this response that categorically states it works on Android 10 is exactly the kind of response I was expecting!
Thanks for the suggestion of the alternative app, I'll give it a try. |

I've got a Galaxy S10 but it's still running Android 9.
No update yet but it's looking imminent.
Maybe Samsungs version of 10 is breaking CA. I'll find out, maybe. _________________ DashCam:

My phone is unlocked so as it's not tied to a carrier it gets updates quicker.
Has anyone else got an S10 running Android 10 that can either confirm or otherwise the problem? |

Quite possibly, it wouldn't be the first time.

I think if we all cancel our subscription, maybe they'll notice this and wonder why, if they check the forums then they'll know it's down to the poor maintenance of the app.
What's the point in paying for the subscription if we can't use it? |
