I tried to install Telmap5 V 5.25.37 on my Torch.
I can start the application but on the 1st screen I have a constant freeze after 1/3. I can change to homescreen etc. for some times but then returning to Telmap5 the screen turns black. Sometimes the BBkey gives options to close/change application sometimes it works but most times it freezes for a certain time. Even an accu-pull and un- and re-installing did not resolve the problem. Even the install-option BES / BIS did not change anything (I currently use WAP for inet-connection and everything else works fine).
As I can see many Torch-users encountering heavy problems I would suggest to open a specific Torch-sub-topic where all Torch issues are collected in !
Thanks! But could you tell me what configuration your torch has maybe its a FW/SW issue or how you managed to get it to work properly ? Do you know whether y ou must use BIS or BES to get it to work or is a working WAP acces enough !??y

Sounds like the problem is with your network connection mode.
We offer either a BES or a BIS version for download.
BIS is for users who purchased their device directly from an operator
BES is for users who get their BB from their enterprise IT department that maintains its own BES server.
If you only have a WAP connection on your BB - then neither of these versions will work for you.
We do have a version that works with WAP - but please send me an email so that we can set you up with that (please reference this post in the forum)
