Can anyone help with a problem I have with my new XXL. My new TT XXL came with European maps so I decided to use the LMG, but when I down loaded the new maps it came up that they were to big for my unit, and gave me the option to choose which area of Europe I would like to install, it also said I could swap and change areas as I felt fit, but it didn't tell me how. So I have loaded western Europe and left out Sweden and Finland etc. So if I decide to change maps I'm guessing it would have to remove some were else in order to fit it on. If this is correct can some one explain how.
Thanks. |

You'd go to Home....Manage My Device.... Device tab ..... Maps ..... and you'll see a 'Change Zone' link. That's what you want. _________________ David |

Also... you can download all the zones, so they are ready on your PC or laptop in case you ever need to switch maps when you can't access the internet. |

Thanks, that's great, I've looked at the maps and it looks like I choose the right one for now. Bye the way if I were to down load all of the maps to my pc how would I go about it.
Thanks again. |

When you choose a new map zone (or any map for that matter) it's always saved to your PC before it is copied onto the TomTom, so the process is just the same as you'd do normally.
There are a couple of TT help files that go some way to explaining map zones and where they are stored (although it doesn't actually mention that they all end up on your PC at once)
Where does HOME store my download
