They're only bug fixes to get it working properly, no new features.
Admit it, you just don't like us having higher numbers than you! |

its not (only) that ... there are plenty of bugs in x10 series which I would like to see ironed out. Check out my other posts for the lists of them |

I still have 5.42 on my TT1 on the basis that "if it aint broke, don't fix it"
I have Speed zoned cameras with voice warnings (from Ray's site) and they work fine.
What benefit would there be for me to upgrade to 6.14 / 6.15 as I would also need to upgrade the voice warnings ? |

Hear Hear. Apart from the hours of fun trying to get the software to work properly, I too can see no point in upgrading from 5.42. |

Hi,
I'm cautious after the trouble with previous SW upgrades from TT......................
Has anyone had any trouble with the update?
Is it stable?

Hi Chris,
Without wishing to tempt providence . . .
Updated to 6.15 and everything seems to be working properly. I'm now waiting eagerly for Ray to produce a new version of his excellent etended warnings app!

Rays 6.14 camera voices are the same for 6.15 although you may need to reload them. |

Thanks for that thebinman. I have added the 6.14 data.chk file and this works well. However, the application that I am very much looking forward to getting is the one that extends the number of warning sounds from 15 to 30. I think that this is rather more 'version specific' than the data.chk files. I would be very happy to be corrected on this because I find it confusing to be warned about a 'gatso ahead' when what I'm really interested in is the proximity of an LPG fill-up station!

Thanks Colin,
I'll see if I can find time to have a muck about with it this week. _________________ Thanks,

Well this is all new...loaded TomTom Home, then updated it, then updated the software, then updated it to v6.150 and everything appears to be working.
Though I'm not sure if I'll ever get Capture POI working correctly...
Using a TomTom 'Go' _________________ Regards Steve :-) |
