Hi
Know this is abit of a off the topic question, but i'm making some enquires about vechile tracking systems. And i have a few question
.
1. Can the signals from a device in a car be blocked, aside from the obvious of switching it offf can a signals be reflected?
2. Has anyone heard of Vasco track as a supplier, are they reliable unit.

1. I was talking today with a chap from here and asked him the first part of your question and he said you could block the signals but it would be picked up immediatetly by the moitoring system which updates in near real time so you would have to give a reasonable explaination.

It's difficult to pass an opinion on a specific supplier without running the risk of legal action! However in my experience of the vehicle tracking industry, you have to look very closely at a company's financial viability before investing in what should be a long term relationship. You can download accounts and look at their profitability for a fiver from the Companies House website. |

If it is truthful and accurate then they don't have any case against you.
You can block a GPS receiver quite easily. Anything metal will probably do the trick. You can also get a GSM jammer for the phone part of the system.
Of course the people doing the tracking would notice fairly quickly. _________________ Gone fishing! |
