I have read in other forums about poor support from the TomTom Customer support people. I have to say that in my experience they are first class. I previously owned an Ipaq with Navigator installed. On two occasions I pulled the GPS receiver cable out of the PDA support and on both occasions TomTom collected it, repaired it and sent it back, all at their expense. More recently I have bought a TomTom 300. The supplied charging cable is quite short and means that it trails down the dashboard of my Vectra. I mailed them to see if they could supply a longer one so I could use the rear power outlet and route the cable under the carpets. They responded within 24 hours with a link to the Maplin website for a suitable cable. Good service I think!
