Hi all,
New here so Hi everyone!
I'm thinking about getting either the Navman 520 from Argos for £249 or the Navman 635 from dabs for £299............any thoughts on which and is the 635 an older model?
Thanks

Just a note to let everyone know that the Argos price of £249.99 for the Navman 520 no longer applies, it finished yesterday, it's now priced at £279.99.
Also, I had had one set aside for me yesyerday, there was no mention of the offer finishing at close of business yesterday so the said the price would be £279.99.......however they have relented and agreed to honour the ageement to let me purchase it at yesterdays agreed price of £249.99........so I'm on my way to collect it
I'm not happy that they tried to tare up the agreement

|

Hi guys,
I’ve researched and research Sat Nav’s for the past month and they’ve driven me nuts.
What to buy, Navman, Mio, Evesham, TomTom?
All new to me!
Anyway, after pontificating long enough, I’ve just ordered the Navman ICN 520 Premium Pack, which comes with all the Euro maps (have to download onto big SDRAM).
I ordered it from: - http://www.thenavigationcompany.com
It cost £347. They also have the ordinary 520 for just over £270.
This is the cheapest I’ve seen anywhere. It should arrive on Friday as I’ve paid the £6 next day delivery.
I should point out in response to the original post that the ICN 635 looked fantastic but it has no internal battery and while it has a gorgeous screen, you would have to keep it plugged in at al times.
Worth while pointing this out as the web descriptions are all terrible!
I’ll let you know how it al goes when the new toy arrives on Friday.
Hope this helps

Hi all,
Well Argos did honour the deal i.e. the Navman iCN 520 for £249 and they gave me a couple of gift vouchers aswell, so a good deal all round 8)
