Greenland is part of North America, hence it is listed as North America, Greenland. Similarly Iceland, which is part of Europe, is listed as Europe, Iceland. _________________ Tim
I am not disagreeing with your statement, but that North America is only placed on Greenland, Not North America. This is to allow billing of the good ol' US of A.. _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk)

Sorry, I had missed your point. If I use the mapscroll to make the words North America just disappear from Greenland, those words then appear on Canada and if I then scroll just a little further they appear on the USA.
Actually, I think that Microsoft put the words there so that Americans know what continent Greenland is a part of, on the basis that even they know about Canada and the USA already. _________________ Tim
i think tim is right btw, there was a survey I seen on the TV a couple of years back where a large percentage of Americans could not point to where they were on a globe. _________________ Regards
