All activations codes for TomTom 2 are stored on your pc within the registry (Product code, Activaton code and Device code) to get the codes just do a search for Tom Tom and keep pressing the F3 key until you find the activation codes. Recomend printing and backing up the registry entry incase you have to reinstall your pc. I have reinstalled Tom Tom 2 god knows how many times now just to see if it is going to ask me to activate it and it hasn't.
By the way I like Tom Tom 2, all software and hardware has there faults (Look at windows!!!)and the faults found in Tom Tom 2 are so minor compared to other Navigation units. I had Kane care pilot for my Ipaq before and only kept it for 4 days it got me lost all the time giving me wrong directions so for me it's a thumbs up for Tom Tom.
I am running it on an Ipaq H3950 with Rom 1.11 and have no problems. |

It will only store the first activation code in the registry, eg if you've installed to two devices, it will only keep the first devices records, so you have to manually register the second device as this doesn't get stored in the registry. |

Thank you Dave
with these codes am I able to install and activate manually, lets say i install it on one pocket pc with one computer and then grab the codes from the registry for that one and then install it on another pocket pc with another computer and then grab the codes from the registry for that one. if I install either of these again in future can I just input the codes that I have obtained from the registry regardless of what pc I use to install TT2.
