Make: PQI
Type: CompactFlash Type I
Size: 1GB
PDA: HP iPAQ 2210
Problem: Became unusable twice. Readers or PDA can no longer detect card when inserted. Replaced by dealer on the first case. On the second case, dealer warranty expired. Sent e-mail to PQI Europe but did not receive reply. Did not try to contact again as I do not want another failure. Settled for another CF. _________________ tomtom 940 live/tt active dock holder/tt rds-tmc traffic receiver usb |

Make: Integral
Type: SD High-Speed
Size: 1GB
PDA: iPAQ hx4700 (ROM 1.00.09), iPAQ h3970 (ROM 4.00.08 - Pocket PC 2003)
Distinguishing marks: only marks on back of card was a letter followed by eleven numbers, fairly small, portrait format
Problem: This card was never reliable. TomTom Navigator 3 crashed repeatedly on the iPAQ hx4700. Heavy I/O in a card reader on my PC would also cause the card to lock up.

Bought a Silicon Power Ultima 512MB SD card.
Used it for my AA Navigator software, and after about 10 minutes travelling my PDA froze - Soft reset required. This happened several times, checked with the AA - No anti piracy on their software.
Replaced with a Kingston 512 MB Sd card - works really well .
Having trouble getting a refund from The Gadget Shop for the Silicon Power card, as I don't have the original packaging !! _________________ Mitac Mio 168

Make:Digifilm(cheap on ebay)
Type:SD card
Size:1GB
PDA:XDA11i,Tom tom 5
Keeps freezing PDA.Can happen several times in an hour.
Releasing card and putting it in again seems to work.
Would it be wiser to buy a more expensive card?? |

When formatting storage cards does it have to be set to FAT32 or just FAT file system |
