Goto an address in MAP view

Hi all,

New user of TT 3.07 on hx4700, with ClipOn BT GPS.

Quick question - if I want to have a look at the location of a place on the 2D map view (not necessarily to navigate to, but just a brief look at the location for interest's sake), how can I re-centre the map on said address? Or town? I can't find a menu item for re-centering the map view. Is the only possibility to scroll the map with the stylus?

Hi Chris,

In Map view click on the 'Find' icon at the bottom of the screen (it's the one with the magnifying glass). Then select the address or place etc. You should then be given an option screen, the bottom selection of which is 'Show on Map'. Select this and the map will centre on the location you chose.
